Media Week at Broadview October 5th, 2006
As the Hawks players try to stay focused on the task — this Saturday's Grand Final clash against the Toronto Eagles — they've also had to do their share to keep the media satisfied. The boys showed up in audio, video, and print throughout the world this week.
Some of the highlights:
- Club captain Stefan Leyhane was interviewed by Australia's top rating breakfast program on Tuesday morning, 3AW's program with Ross Stevenson and John Burns. Download the interview (MP3, 2.5 MB).

You blokes are on the radio, you've got internet video. Shit, I understand you're even in the newspapers and if I actually knew how to read, I'd probably have really enjoyed the articles.
Anyway, as you probably know, my preferred form of media communication is lurid text messages. But I'm really concerned that you boys are stealing all my publicity thunder. That Match Report guy talks up all your nocturnal activities and I just can't keep up with that. I'd come over and sign up with you fellas but I understand it's pretty hard to get good baked beans over there.
